How Awkward

Wow oh wow. This couldn't have been any more embarrassing... There is never anything more fun than twinning with someone and even to this extreme weather. It's also quite funny how much we matched from even to the color of the cardigan. This unplanned twin-ception couldn't have been more accidental or embarrassing. Haha you would not believe how unwilling my friend was to take this picture.

I thrifted my cardigan from a local thrift shop/warehouse!

I stole my pants from my mom, but since she never wore them I figured that it'd be fine if I took them. She didn't even notice that I took them! She complimented them when I wore them. And since the price tag was on them, I found out my mom purchased them from the clearance rack in Macy's.
These pants were actually a size too big for me so I just had to pin the waistband so it would fit properly. I could easily sew the waistband, but I'm just too lazy to do that -.-

My crop top was from wet seal and I purchased it on the president's weekend sale.

The shoes are from f21's line of capsule 2.1. I had been looking for shoes like this for the longest time. When I saw model Sora park from Style Nanda wearing shoes similar to this, I knew I had to buy them. I looked at the prices of the shoes on the style nanda website and it was just way outta my price range. I got these for only about $30 which isn't bad at all!

I purchased the gold chain necklace off of ebay. It was only around $2 so the chains of the necklace are made out of plastic, but what else is there to expect for a $2 necklace coming straight out of China!

Eye of the Tiger | March 11, 2013

Ahh how nice it felt to disguise such a comfortable outfit into a fashionable one! I woke up late this morning however I knew that I just because of my late start, that didn't mean I wanted to make it look like I woke up late!

The silver, and almost holographic t-shirt I am sporting was thrifted for $3. Still one of my favorite finds yet!

I picked up this cardigan last year during the summer in the sales rack of pacsun! They always have such great deals for their sales for when I bought this, there was a buy one get one free deal!

On my feet, I am wearing my very loved creepers.

My pants were something I DIYed. I've had this extremely faded pair of black pants that were boring because of their faded quality. So in order to spruce them up, I bleached them and cut slits at the knee! I am not gonna lie, this is my best DIY yet! Cheapest and fun way to make acid wash jeans!

OOTD: CATerday on Monday!

Today was a late start so I decided to try out my frilly socks that finally came in after almost three weeks! The ultimate excitement I felt when they came in was probably way too much than the socks deserved. It was just nice to add a piece of clothing that I'd worn plenty of times and incorporate into my daily life now! You can expect to see them in many other colors and with other shoes in the future!

Also, I finally got my black mary jane wedges back! Around November of 2013, I broke the strap on the right shoe. I was running late for school and ended up ripping the strap ;-; Luckily, I brought them to a shoe repair and they were able to bring the shoe back to life!

I bought my pleather skirt for Urban Outfitters sometime last year and ever since then it has become a staple in my closet!

As for my turtle neck crop top, I bought it from Forever21 for about $8. What a bargain! I would say that this is a great basic to have in your closet for the colder weather. It's great for layering without looking too bulky!

The oversized tan cardigan was something that I thrifted this weekend for about $3! Talk about a deal!! It's from Gap, however it's so old that it has the old Gap logo from years ago!

The very fierce headband is something that I ordered from ebay a few months. This accessory always catches attention from passerbys!

The overall look I had been trying to imitate is almost a toddler vibe (which is one of my oddest inspirations yet). With the frilly socks and cat ears, this look can be pulled off a little too easy! I wasn't sure whether to wear my overalls, however I figured that I would've been mistaken for a 12 year old... yet again... haha!

OOTD Updates!

I'll be posting my outfits everyday because I finally found a friend who is willing to take my picture!

The reasons why I didn't post them before was because I didn't like the informality of me just snapping a picture of me in the mirror! Haha no mirror selfies for me.

Anyways I'll be updating starting monday!

Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind: Eraser Dark Circles Review

Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind: Eraser Dark Circle is a great product! Many of you have probably heard about the raving that this product has received and for a good reason as well! This highly pigmented product really shocked me and I will soon be needing to repurchase this product.

As far as the product itself goes, I love it. The packaging however is a problem to me. The first no no that stands out is the puffy top. The applicator is basically a place for bacteria and dirt to harvest which causes breakouts. However, an easy solution would be to take off the applicator! This was very easy to do, and I would highly suggest this.

Another problem is that although to get the product is to twist (which is honestly very simple and easy), there is a lot of left over product left over in the bottle. I had tried to somehow open the top but I have had no success. The only way to get the extra product in the bottle would be to break it.

Overall, the product is fantastic, however the packaging is its greatest downfall. Although the applicator is an easy fix, all the wasted product is a slight pet peeve. Despite this, I will say that I am going to repurchase this as soon as I run out!

Farewell, my dollops of sunshine!

NYC Bronzer: Review

Oh boy Oh Boy, am I excited to review this bronzer. As some of you may have already heard, this inexpensive and accessible product is literally fanstastic!

I'm glad I had this picture saved on my computer or else I would have had to show you guys a lackluster used up bronzer! After about 8 months, I've finally hit pan on this product.

This inexpensive product is a great shade that I believe is suitable on most shades of skin. It does not show up too orange on skin and looks very natural. As well as being fairly pigmented, it is very build-able and easy to blend.

For application, I like to use a powder brush, however I have seen people use an angled brush for easier contouring.

This product only comes in one color which is Sunny. However despite the lack of shades, this color is suitable for many shades as I had stated earlier.

I would recommend this to many people as it is an incredible bargain!

Farewell, my dollops of sunshine!
